— Kareca, Um grande sonho!
“My name is Ketlyn, I’m 17 years old, and I’ve known Projeto UNA for about 10 years—since I was a child. The project always had a very special rhythm: we’d start with activities, then came the devotional, and finally, a snack.
In the beginning, my sister joined just for the snack, but over time, she became a volunteer and started bringing me along too.
I come from a family with an alcoholic mother and many problems. The project became a true refuge for me. What began as simple curiosity for the snack turned into something much bigger.
As time passed, I grew in my faith, began volunteering, went on my first mission trip to Peru, and now I’m preparing for another mission—this time in Colombia.”

“At 8 years old, I lost my father and moved to Cidade Júlia. My mother had to work all day, so my siblings and I stayed on the streets—where we started learning the wrong things. At the time, I looked up to the drug dealers. They had respect, money, women, cars, and motorcycles.
I was never a good student—I gave my teachers a hard time. The only thing I really enjoyed was playing soccer. At 16, I joined UNA, a team different from any other in the community. They talked about Jesus, and every practice included a devotional and prayer time.
After one tournament, I was coaching another team when Josué invited me to become a UNA coach. I didn’t think twice—I said yes. Over time, Josué walked with me and taught me more about Jesus. That’s how I gave my life to Christ and got baptized.
Through that process, I felt a call to missions. At 18, I went on my first mission trip to Colombia—I had never even left São Paulo. It changed my life. I also spent three months in northern Peru, on the Ecuador border, during an incredible time of service. In 2024, I spent two months in India, crossing the ocean in a journey that deeply marked me. Since then, I carry a dream in my heart: to return to India and serve there long-term.”

“I grew up in a broken home—my parents were separated. From a young age, I faced many difficulties. My relationship with my parents was hard. I was distant from my mom, and though I was closer to my dad, it was still complicated.
I performed poorly at school. I skipped classes, didn’t study, and was angry and aggressive. My behavior reflected the chaos inside me.
At 16, something started to change. I was watching a sermon online when I was deeply touched. Alone in my room, I felt the love of Jesus reaching me.
That’s when I decided to give my life to Him. Everything began to transform. Three years ago, I joined UNA, and it has been a blessing in my walk with Christ. There, I learned more about God, about service, and I began to understand the purpose He has for me.
Over time, I realized God was calling me to something bigger. I believe He called me to be a missionary, to share the gospel and serve others with my life.
In 2025, I will embark on my first mission trip to Colombia. It’s a great joy and responsibility to be part of what God is doing there.
This year, I also started studying Psychology. I’m in my first semester, and I already see how God is using me there. He has transformed my reality and given me new opportunities to grow, serve, and influence others.”

“I’ve always been a cheerful girl with an easy smile. I loved playing in the street, dancing, singing, and I did well in school. But everything changed when I lost my dad. The pain of that loss changed me. I started giving my mom trouble, lost my appetite, and just wanted to be alone.
As I got older, I came to know the darkness of the world. I started drinking and smoking the cigarettes I stole from my mom. I attempted to take my life several times. I began dressing like the girls who wanted attention from drug dealers. And honestly, that’s what I wanted—someone involved in crime to notice me.
That’s when I found UNA—at just 9 years old. Yes, I was living all of that by age 9. But I loved being there. I enjoyed doing crafts and especially listening to Cíntia talk about Jesus. Even without fully understanding, something about her words moved me.
Through craft classes, cooking lessons, and later on through the teen gatherings at Cíntia’s house, Jesus was being planted in my heart.
The years passed. I got baptized. And today, I truly know Jesus. I’m the only Christian in my family—the youngest of four sisters, while the others follow another religion.
I went from a girl who wanted attention to a transformed woman. Today, I’m a missionary with a heart full of dreams. I became an English teacher, and I dream of becoming a surgeon to serve in missions.
And all of this was only possible because of Jesus.”

Social actions + mapping + partnerships + communication + monitoring.
“And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. When he arrives, he calls together his friends and neighbors and says, “Rejoice with me, for I have found my lost sheep.”
Lucas 15:5-6
Our calling is to reach out to those in need. That’s why we identify and connect with those who need support, listening, welcoming, and serving with the love of Christ.
Through social activities, we create opportunities to build relationships where the love of Jesus can be lived and shared. We demonstrate the true gospel with concrete and transformative actions.
Mentorship + training + spiritual guidance.
“Teach them to obey all the commandments I have given you.”
Mateus 28:20
Discipleship is more than teaching. It is walking alongside those who have decided to follow Jesus, guiding them in faith, strengthening their convictions and helping them to live the Gospel in a practical way.
This is a form of support that develops skills and raises awareness of rights and duties. A process is essential to ensure that the impact of the actions is lasting.
We are committed to discipling those who have accepted the challenge of following Christ, teaching them to obey the Word of God, guiding them to baptism and encouraging them to make other disciples with the mission of multiplying this calling in their own realities.
How we do it:
Leadership development + volunteer work + missionary outreach + testimonies + expansion.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
those 1:8
It represents the mission of taking the transformation and acquired teachings outside the institution.
We believe that every empowered individual should become an agent of change in their own community, wherever they are or are sent.

“Mas recebereis a virtude do Espírito Santo, que há de vir sobre vós; e ser-me-eis testemunhas, tanto em Jerusalém como em toda a Judéia e Samaria, e até aos confins da terra.”
ato 1:8
Representa a missão de levar a transformação e os ensinamentos adquiridos para fora da instituição.
Acreditamos que cada indivíduo capacitado deve se tornar um agente de mudança em sua própria comunidade, onde estiver ou for enviado.
Mentoria + treinamentos + acompanhamento espiritual
