Project UNA was born from a calling: to reach children and teenagers with the Gospel of Christ, creating paths of hope, formation, and transformation that point to a new dawn in God.
For more than a decade, we have walked alongside children, teenagers, and their families in vulnerable contexts, promoting physical, social, and emotional development, always with a greater purpose: to evangelize, disciple, and raise a new generation committed to the values of the Kingdom of God.
How It All Began
Project UNA was founded in response to an urgent need: to create a safe and welcoming space where children and teenagers could experience the love of Christ. In many communities, reality is marked by a lack of opportunities, fragile relationships, and the absence of environments that promote dignity and purpose.
From the beginning, we understood that education, sports, culture, and care are strategic ways to proclaim the Gospel. For this reason, a team of volunteers came together with a clear mission: to reach lives, disciple with intention, and prepare children and young people to live as witnesses of Christ. That is how Project UNA — A New Dawn — was born.
Our Impact Today
Today, Project UNA serves more than 300 children and teenagers every month. Each action goes beyond social assistance, acting as a bridge for evangelism, discipleship, and the building of life-changing relationships.
Our main areas of work include:
Education and Development Workshops
Education is one of the main ways we connect with children and their families. Through academic support, art workshops, music, and development activities, we build relationships, awaken dreams, and create opportunities to share the Gospel. More than academic content, we communicate Christian values and point to Christ as the foundation of life.
Sports as a Space for Connection and Evangelism
Sports are a powerful strategy for connection and relationship building. Through soccer and recreational activities, we teach discipline, respect, cooperation, and perseverance, creating natural opportunities to share the message of Jesus in a practical and accessible way.
Welcoming and Holistic Care
Caring for basic needs also communicates the Gospel. By offering meals, attention, and a safe environment, we demonstrate the love of Christ in practice, creating a place where children and teenagers feel valued, protected, and open to learn and grow.
Stories That Reveal the Purpose
Over the years, God has used every action of UNA as an instrument to reach lives.
One example is the testimony of the missionary Cristiane. She first encountered Project UNA at the age of nine through a handicraft workshop — a simple activity that became the gateway to discipleship and learning about the Gospel. At eighteen, Cristiane took her first missionary trip, taking concrete steps toward the calling God had placed in her heart since childhood.
Today, she dreams of proclaiming the Word of God around the world as a missionary, testifying that when the Gospel is lived intentionally, lives are transformed for eternity. May God be glorified through every life that has been reached.
The Role of Volunteers
Nothing we do would be possible without men and women who understood the calling to serve. Our volunteers act as educators, mentors, coaches, and supporters, using their gifts and abilities as expressions of care, discipleship, and Christian love.
More than performing roles, they build relationships, walk alongside children and families, and reflect the character of Christ in every action, becoming instruments in God’s hands to raise this new generation.
How You Can Be Part of It

An Invitation to the Future
Celebrating 13 years means recognizing everything God has already done, while also looking to the future with faith and responsibility. We remain committed to using every action as an opportunity to proclaim the Gospel, shape lives, and send out a new generation prepared to impact the world.
Join us in building a future where children and teenagers are reached, discipled, and transformed for the glory of God.
